Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it was not possible to host an international award ceremony 2020. So the winners of the Global Peace Photo Award 2020 and the Children’s Peace Image of the Year 2020 have not been announced yet.
But a solution finally has been found. The Global Peace Photo Award partnered with the Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo, which will be held in Baden, near Vienna, Austria, from 18 June to 17 October 2021.
The winners of the Global Peace Photo Award 2020 will be presented along other outstanding peace images in an exhibition in the heart of Baden. The Winners of the 2020 contest will be honored in an outdoor ceremony on 19 July 2021. The laureates have already been invited to come to Baden.
