Culture of Solidarity in Celje

As part of the Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo 2022 and in the context of the CULTURE OF SOLIDARITY exhibitions, which take place outside the festival area in Baden, the Global Peace Photo Award exhibition will be shown in Celje, Slovenia.

A Best of Alfred Fried Photography Award / Global Peace Photo Award and Children’s Peace Image of the Year is shown. 100 images will be exhibited in Celje in Slovenia from 16 June to 16 October 2022. And in Tulln, Austria a 37 image-show will open it’s doors on 9 April 2022 and will welcome visitors until 26 October 2022.

The mother-Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo will run from 9 June to 16 October 2022 and takes place in Baden near Vienna. It is the largest outdoor photography festival in Europe, visited by 282,607 visitors in 2021. Entry is free.

The Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo appeals strongly to visitors by presenting themes of a clearly humanist orientation. In 2022 its 29 exhibitions deal with a variety of aspects in the relations between humans and their environment.

The photos were selected from the submissions to the Global Peace Photo Award.
